The Typical Not So Typical.

Our story began with autism. No, not really. Our story began way before we became aware of autism being present in our lives, but the ‘word’ autism entered into our life in 2017 when our youngest child, Trys, was diagnosed at age 2. My husband, Reed, followed with ASD and ADHD a few years later at age 41, and our oldest, Xayden, is currently going through an ADHD assessment at age 11. Neurodiversity is the norm in our family. I am Maud and I decided to make this blog to share our day to day struggles and victories so that others may see that their neurodivergent family may not be so atypical.
